Supernaturally Blog Tour: Interview with Author Kiersten White

Hey guys! I was lucky enough to get a chance to host the fabulously hysterical (or hysterically fabulous?) Kiersten White as part of her Supernaturally blog tour hosted by Mundie Moms. Kiersten took the time to answer a few questions I had about the characters from Paranormalcy and Supernaturally, and some other random things. So without further ado, here she is!

_________________________________________________________

1. Let's say you're a rogue paranormal going toe-to-toe with Evie. What's the best way to escape Evie and (more importantly) Tasey's wrath?

Make her laugh. If you back her into a corner she'll fight you like crazy, but if you get in her good graces by making her laugh, odds are better you'll get out without being electrocuted.

2. Lend's taking Evie to the movies this weekend. What do they go to see and why?

Captain America. Lend likes comic book adaptations, and Evie likes looking at pretty, pretty men in costumes running around punching things. The only movies Evie refuses to see are ones with vampire or werewolf love interests, because their flagrant disregard for reality makes her mad.

3. Authors and book bloggers tend to read a lot, but many of us find it difficult to keep on top of our giant to-read lists. What's one book that you've been dying to read but haven't gotten around to yet?

A whole bunch of sequels. I'm pretty good at reading first books, but I get super behind on sequels in series. I've also been meaning to read Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children--but it got lost in the mail. Boo.

4. If you could spend a day as a supernatural creature of your choosing, what would you pick?

I don't really envy any of them! But if I had to choose I'd either pick a water elemental so I could hang out in the ocean, or a faerie so I could go anywhere in the world on a whim. Though if I were a faerie I'd hardly be interested in sightseeing. I'd probably go on a huge kidnapping spree or something, instead. Maybe it's better for everyone that I stay a human.

5. Anything else you'd like to add?

Not numbers, that's for sure. Though I don't mind addition so much. I hate subtraction. And I never could memorize my times tables for those horrible speed tests in elementary school.

Wait. I mean, thanks for reading! I love writing these books, and it means the world to me that people enjoy reading them, too.

  2. I can totally understand why Evie would not like movies like Twilight and I hope Kiersten get a chance to read Miss Peregrines Peculiar Children as it is a great read and not to be missed. Great interview cannot wait to read Supernaturally.
